    • Cell phones are strictly prohibited.  

      • ​Parents or Guardians:  Please help us enforce this by collecting these before camp.

    • This is for safety and to promote an environment that is free from distractions in order to draw nearer to God and each other.

    • Our intent is to have fun in a natural environment and to focus on the beauty of God's creation.  

    • We desire for young people to interact with each other with a wealth of options vs. shutting everyone out by focusing inward on virtual environments.

    • There will be plenty of ways to make contact with parents at the appropriate times.  Over 12 adults with phones are on hand.  See the "Contact" page of this web-site for phone numbers.  

  • Electronic Devices

    • No network enabled devices (if it can connect to a cellular network, it is not allowed)

    • If Pictures are desired, ask an adult volunteer if you can use their phone to capture the moment.  Then, send it immediately to your own phone at home by text or e-mail option to share. 

    • No tablets or Ipads

    • No ipods

    • No headphones

 

Camp Rules

In General:  

  • Respect the place

  • Respect the people

These simple statements have very broad meanings that follow life's golden rule of:  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."--Jesus Christ.

 

All teenagers attending this camp will be held responsible for their actions.  If young campers choose not to follow any of the camp rules, they will have to face the consequences.  This may include being sent home at the parent's expense.  

 

See below for more specific information about appropriate behavior and expectations.

General Rules

 

  • No leaving camp grounds

    • For those who do, you will be sent home

  • LIGHTS OUT:  No leaving your designated sleeping area

    • If you leave the dorm building or tent area during sleep hours, you will be sent home  

  • Boys and Girls Dorms:  No boys in the girls area and no girls in the boys area

    • No exceptions

  • Property Damage:  

    • You break it, you pay for it.

  • Schedules:  

    • Be where your suppose to be.

    • scheduled events are not optional unless specified.

  • Meals:  

    • All campers must attend all meals

  • Groups:

    •  Your group leader needs to know where you are at all times

  • Buddy system:  

    • No one should ever go anywhere alone.  

      • If your are authorized by a leader to pair off, then boys partner with boys and girls with girls

      • Boys and Girls are never to be alone together.  

  • Footwear:

    • Must be worn at all times when outside

Dress
 
  • Dress approriately

    • If you are dressed inappropriately, you will be asked to change

  • If you can't wear it to school, don't wear it to camp

  • Girls:  Bellies, butts, and breast need to be covered

  • Boys:  No butt crack or underwear showing

  • FOR EVENING WORSHIP:  No cut offs or athletic shorts or swimwear

  • FOR SWIMMING:

    • Appropriate swimwear that is acceptable to all parent volunteers

    • Swimming only at scheduled beach times on Friday & Saturday

    • Nothing too revealing

    • No tanning - if you need sun protection, ask an adult for help

    • Girls-wear a covering over swimwear when not swimming

    • Boys - no speedos
