SLEEPING ITEMS

 

WARNING:  The Recreation Building only has concrete floors to sleep on. 

WARNING:  No permanent HVAC is available for our Worship space/Sleeping Dorm.

  • Camping Pad, Air Mattress with pump, or Cot is highly recommended.

  • Pillow

  • Blanket and a sheet for temperature issues.

    • Ceiling fans will be on, but there is no air conditioning

    • We will also try to provide mobile units to cool air, but this is hard to maintain a constant temp.

  • Sleeping Bag

  • Sleeping clothes that can be worn to go to the restroom.

  • Earplugs to reduce noise

    • Nature noises and fans and other sounds can keep you from going to sleep

  • Flashlight

FOOD & ALLERGY / MEDICINE

 

  • Please review the menu items for each day and bring any special food items that may be required

    • We will provide meals but not special dietary needs.

    • If such a need exists, please let us know as soon as possible to plan for or take camper with us on meal supply runs to HEB or Walmart.

  • Extra money for unscheduled stops to gas stations or restaurants

  • Reusable water bottle with name on it.

  • Allergy Medicines as needed

  • Any other Presciption medicines that my be needed.

    • Please let us know as soon as possible about any medications we may need to remind campers about.  Even if you note this on paperwork, please text or call with concerns.

  • Snacks you like

    • We may need your phone to call parents

      • Teenagers are not allowed to have phones, but may want to call home at appropriate times.

    • Campers may ask you to take a picture and let them send it home or to an e-mail.

      • Teenager are not allowed to have any electronics and may want you to capture the moment.

  • Laptop with Charger

    • ​May be necessary if you are leading a small group bible study

      • It would be helpful to replay some music videos

      • This website has bible study material options under Resources and broken down by each day.
